My Investment Journey
My husband and I started investing in real estate in 2013 with the purchase of our single-family home in Arvada. We lived in that property for 9 years (excelling in the art of delayed gratification) all while improving the property and adding value where it made sense.
In 2022, we purchased a duplex in Wheat Ridge and began renting our single-family home. We house-hack the duplex (rent out the other side) while using a long-term rental strategy for both properties.
In 2023, we flipped a Denver condo we purchased off-market through a wholesaler and decided to hold onto it for the time being.
